Book-uary!
I'll begin by saying I'm not too huge into formal resolutions for New Year's. I am, however, into taking stock and thinking really hard about what I want the upcoming year to look like. I haven't been super pleased lately with myself, just from a spiritual/mental standpoint. I spend most of my time with a toddler. It's not a bad thing by any meams, but our conversations mostly consist of him disputing whether I am, in fact, Mama, or one of the cats ("Ed-ghee!") I looked at the list of "Books to read" from last year in my journal, and I only had read one of them, the one that I could barely get through because it gave me a fit of anxiety. Upton Sinclair's The Jungle , if you wondered. I've decided since seeing that that I was going to read as many new books as I could in January, books I've been meaning to read and any others that fall into my lap. It almost seems indecent
