Day 42, Half-tober
Halfway through October or nearly so!
Heh. I'll be honest, I do need to focus a leetle bit on Halloween. There's a costume to make for me and one for Mr. Moosh. We'll be taking him out with his cousins and going to visit some relatives. After all, this could likely be the last year he'll let me pick his costume. Or not. He's a pretty easy-going fella.
By the way, as a Catholic I want to issue a word of caution to my fellow Catholics: let your kids dress up as their favorite Paw Patrol or whatever, go ring some doorbells, and Trick or Treat. Don't come down on them like a ton of bricks for wanting to dip a little into spooky stuff. If you make them go to All Saints parties... the kind where people make them give presentations and bob for holy cards... they will turn into LITERALLY Gene Simmons at age twenty and you'll only have yourself to blame. Do you want that on your conscience?
